Product Description

The IC693CPU367 is a Central Processing Unit with an embedded PROFIBUS Master from Series 90-30 from the manufacturer GE Fanuc. This CPU operates as a slave on a PROFIBUS-DP network and communicates with a PROFIBUS DP master.  The IC693CPU367 automatically exchanges data with a master device, although it has no bus access rights. It can only acknowledge received messages or transmit messages to a master after they have been requested.

The IC693CPU367 provides the following PROFIBUS communication features: It has the ability to read up to 244 bytes of input data from the network and send up to 244 bytes of output data. The IC693CPU367 supports all standard PROFIBUS data rates. It supports DP-V1 read, write, and alarm messages. The IC693CPU367 is a PROFIBUS compliant module. It has network status LEDs. The IC693CPU367 has an RS-232 serial port (service port) for upgrading the firmware.
