Product Description

The IC693CPU366 is a GE Fanuc 90-30 series CPU master module for PROFIBUS DP networks.  It comes with an embedded PROFIBUS master that makes it possible for the CPU to send and receive input and output data from a PROFIBUS-DP network. At the front are two LEDs for systems (SYS) and communication (COM) for indicating performance. A 9-pin male RS232 Service Port is used during firmware upgrades. A 9-pin female RS485 PROFIBUS port is used for connecting to a PROFIBUS network. The IC693CPU366 master module requires CPU version 10.72 or higher. The backplane current consumption is at 940 mA for a voltage of 5 VDC. For optimal performance, the storage temperature should range from -40°C to 85°C and operating temperature from 0°C to 60°C. The master module supports the following standard data rates (9.6 KBit/s, 19.2 KBit/s, 93.75 KBit/s, 187.5 KBit/s, 500 KBit/s, 1.5 MBit/s, 3 MBit/s, 6 MBit/s and 12 MBit/s).
