The IC693CMM304 is a Alspa N80 Communications Module manufactured by GE Fanuc, this module is also a member of the 90-30 series. It provides an interface between a 90-30 PLC series and a proprietary Fanuc Input / Output link in a Fanuc CNC or 90-70 series PLC. Specifically, it shares data between CPU’s when operating with N80 global data. This module is the original module designed for this kind of communication and fixes %G addresses. The IC693CMM304 is configured as a slave device only and allows the 90-30 series PLC to send either 32 or 64 I/O points to the I/O link. The module can be installed on any series 90-30 model. There’s also no limit on the number of I/O link interface modules that can be installed in a system with the current limits of the baseplate and other I/O modules installed in the baseplate.
