Product Description

IC693BEM321 is a 90-30 GE Series I/O Link Master Module. GE 90-30 Series PLC acts as a master for the Fanuc input/output link. The serial interface for the input/output link provides the input/output data exchange at a very high-speed between a master and the 16 slaves. The master receives 1024 discrete inputs from slaves and sends 1024 discrete outputs. GE Fanuc Automation Corporation is the manufacturer of this module. This module uses a configuration software or the hand-held programmer for 90-30 GE Series for configuration.

Fanuc uses devices such as 90-70 Series PLCs, 90-30 Series PLCs, operator panels and connection units for slaves. The user can place some of the master modules for input/output links on the GE 90-30 Series PLC. When multiple master modules for input/output link are within the same PLC system, the input/output links are usually separate. The user can place the master module for input/output link on any of the input/output slots on any baseplate. A CPU baseplate can house up to six master modules for the input/output link.

Whenever a failure takes place, a pushbutton link resets and restarts the module. Thus, pushing the button restarts the whole link operation. One Honda-type of the connector with 20-pins located on the module’s front connects the first slave with input/output link. The 90-30 series input/output link module is compatible with RS422 and RS485 signal level. It is also compatible with many devices, including 90-30 Series CPU Models, 90-30 Series Hand-held Programmer, etc.
