Redundant PS BASE 0.125M CBL
The GE Fanuc IC693ACC340 Redundant Power Supply Baseplate is a mounting baseplate for the Series 90-30 PLC system. This baseplate provides a maximum of 2 mounting slots for installing 2 standard IC693 power supply adapter modules. The IC693ACC340 RPS Baseplate comes with a 0.125-meter cable for connecting to a redundant power supply adapter module, and it can be mounted on the left side of the IC693 PLC Baseplate. The IC693ACC340 Baseplate supports both AC and DC power supplies, and it is rated for a full load output at 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit) when mounted to a vertical surface and with its long dimension oriented horizontally.
The IC693ACC340 RPS Baseplate can be grounded with a 12 AWG or larger wire with a ring terminal crimped at each end. To ground the IC693ACC340 RPS Baseplate to the PLC baseplate, fasten each ring terminal crimped wire end to a conductive surface on the head of the mounting bolt and the other end of the ground wire to a conductive surface on the panel. The IC693ACC340 Baseplate has 2 I/O slots for mounting standard IC693 Power Supplies, and the power supply can be the same catalog number or of a different type. In addition to the slots, the IC693ACC340 Baseplate also has an attached adapter connection cable that connects to the redundant power supply adapter module, 4 LED indicators (the “PS1 OK” LED, the “PS1 ACTIVE” LED, the “PS2 OK” LED, and the “PS2 ACTIVE” LED), a 24 Volts DC user output terminal, and a status relay output terminal.
The IC693ACC340 redundant power supply baseplate module is an IC693 RPS baseplate module from GE Fanuc. The baseplate has 2 modules based on the length of the adapter connection cable. The IC693ACC340 redundant power supply baseplate module has a 0.125-meter adapter cable and 2 slots for power supplies. The “PWR” LED indicator of the adapter module switches on to indicate that the power supplies in the system are working properly. The “PS1” and “PS2” indicator LEDs indicate the operation of the 2 power supply modules. The output terminal strip has 7 screw-type terminals to connect the output relay contacts and user power supply outputs. Four of them are normally open output relay contacts and 2 of the terminals are positive and negative terminals.
The IC693ACC340 redundant power supply baseplate module can be mounted on an enclosure panel on the left side of the IC693 PLC baseplate. It is rated for full load output at 60 degrees Celsius when it is mounted on a vertical surface in a horizontal orientation. It is advised to mount it in the horizontal orientation since it allows for better ventilation for the power supplies which can be connected to the 2 slots of the baseplate. When mounting the module, make sure to use high-quality, corrosion-resistant hardware. Some of the hardware needed for mounting the module includes 4-millimeter machine screws, flat washers, and lock washers. The IC693ACC340 module must be grounded similarly to how the IC693 PLC baseplate is grounded. It must be connected with an adapter module to configure the complete IC693 redundant power supply system.
