IC693ACC337 is a Terminal Block Quick Connect for Series 90-30 Discrete I/O Modules. This system is also referred to as the Terminal Block Quick Connect system or the TBQC. The TBQC offers several advantages when installed as it allows the I/O modules to be quickly connected to the terminal blocks as referenced by the name. The terminal clock quick connect is simply snapped into a standard DIN rail by the user, and then a factory made cable is placed between the terminal block’s connector and the I/O module’s connector. This makes for simple placement and use. However, this system is not recommended for analog modules because it does not meet necessary shielding requirements. Installing the IC693ACC337 only takes about two minutes as opposed to installing typical 16 point modules that can take hours to properly wire. 

The terminal block contains three rows arranged in three levels featuring the simple to use captive screw with a rising cage type of connection. Input for the IC693ACC337 can vary based on the module it is used with, but it includes 5/12 VDC TTL positive/negative logic at 32 points, 24 VDC positive/negative at 32 points, 5/24 VDC (output) negative logic also at 32 points, and 12/24 VDC (output) positive logic 0.5A at 32 points. When connecting, there are six cables available between the faceplate and terminal blocks. Due to placement, a right and left sided cable are required with the right angle connectors on the module’s end. This minimizes the needed space for the unit. The IC693ACC337 is the only terminal block that can be used with a 32 point module for this series, but two terminal blocks are required. This terminal block is compatible with the following modules: IC693MDL654, IC693MDL655, IC693MDL752, and IC693MDL753.
