IC695CPK400 is a PACSystems RX3i standalone CPU with energy pack bundle manufactured by GE Automation and Controls. Features include an enhanced volume of data analysis, a multi-core processor for reduced latency, more precise data and I/O control, built-in ports and switches to simplify applications, and a single point of connect regardless of distance. The added energy pack guarantees power during power failure while data is written to NV RAM. The IC695CPK400 CPU stores extensive amounts of data (up to 64MB) and application files on the control itself for easy access to drawings, debugging or startup info, operational notes, and more. Additionally, the IC695CPK400 comes standard with built-in media conversion and switches that decrease both I/O wiring cost and installation time. The IC695CPK400 CPU also includes an expandable I/O system useful for line capacity expansion and future options.
Another feature of the IC695CPK400 is PROFINET distributed I/O connectivity, which allows for high speed I/O connectivity, media redundancy protocol support, and increased uptime since configuration is unnecessary for replacement devices. PROFINET I/O solutions provide productivity and performance advantages needed for nearly all types of control applications in a wide range of industries. PROFINET supports large amounts of I/O without interfering with system performance and is ideal in noisy settings. The user can connect through a module for even more flexibility and performance. This CPU supports 32k bits discrete I/O and 32k words for analog I/O. The IC695CPK400 utilizes a 2 USB-A 3.0 USB interface and Micro SD memory card. To maintain safe operations, the recommended temperature environment for the CPU is -40°C to 70°C.
