The IC695CPE330 is a programmable CPU with Ethernet connectivity in the GE Fanuc PACSystems RX3i Series. To program and configure IC695CPE330, you typically use Proficy Machine Edition software. As a user, you can choose any of several different languages in which to program the controller. Depending on what you want to do with industrial-scale automation, you can program in Ladder Diagram, Function Block Diagram, Structured Text, or C. You can also create Symbolic Variables confidently.
The module is a controller that supports other RX3i I/O and Intelligent Option modules. Its CPU can accommodate up to 512 program blocks, each of which can have a capacity of as much as 128 KB.
IC695CPE330 ships with 64 MB of user memory, 64 MB of program memory, and a pair of independent high-speed Ethernet LANs labeled LAN1 and LAN2. LAN1 uses a dedicated RJ-45 (sometimes written RJ45) connector. LAN2 uses a pair of internally switched connectors. Both LANs are served by dedicated microprocessors and network interface controllers, so that the involved Ethernet functions independently of the controller logic and I/O scanning. Ethernet interfaces on the controller sense data rates, communications modes, and cabling arrangements automatically.
Each of the two LANs can run up to 48 SRTP (Secure Real-time Transport Protocol) Server connections simultaneously. The controller supports three different serial protocols: Modbus RTU Slave, Serial I/O, and SNP Slave.
Cutouts in the controller's metal housing and labels on its faceplate make connectivity and cabling options readily apparent. The controller is designed to synchronize data while enabling multi-tier communications. It also allows you to transfer data to and from USB 2.0 removable data storage devices.

The GE Fanuc IC695CPE330 CPU is an industrial central processing unit that is manufactured by GE Fanuc to be used as part of a GE RX3i PACSystems series industrial machine control system. The IC695CPE330 CPU has the capacity for a maximum of 512 program blocks, and each of these program blocks can have data capacities of up to 128 KB. The users can configure and program the IC695CPE330 CPU with the Machine Edition of the Proficy software. This central processing unit can be programmed with the function block diagram, the letter diagram, or the structured text setups depending on the applications that it is intended for. It comes with 64 MB of user memory and an equal amount of program memory.
The GE Fanuc RX3i PACSystems IC695CPE330 central processing unit does not come with any serial communication ports. However, it does come with an RJ45 Ethernet port that can handle communication speeds of 10 Mbaud, 100 Mbaud, or 1000 Mbaud. The IC695CPE330 CPU supports 2 high-speed Ethernet LANs that are able to operate independently and that are labeled as LAN1 and LAN2. LAN1 uses the CPU’s RJ45 Ethernet port, while LAN2 uses a pair of connectors that are internally switched instead. Both Ethernet LANs are able to handle as many as 48 secure real-time transport protocols or SRTP server connections at 1 time. The processor inside the IC695CPE330 CPU is a 1.6-gigahertz dual-core processor. This CPU is meant to be installed in a GE universal backplane and it has 32K discrete and analog I/O points.

Error 8544 Flash Operation Failed
Description
One of the scenario to generate this error is trying to download a different IP address for a ethernet card to flash.
For example, PLC is running well with the ethernet card IP address 192.168.0.10. Then customer wants to change the IP to 10.0.0.10. After changing the new IP (10.0.0.10) in HW configuration first, and connecting with the PLC via the original IP (192.168.0.10), the customer choose to download all configuration to flash directly.
Then the error 8544 will occur, at the same time, PME will lose connection with PLC.
Resolution
If the customer wants to revise the IP address for a running system, there are 2 ways to complete that.
The first way, set the new IP address for the ethernet card as a new module.
The Second way, download the new IP address to CPU via PME.
Then in Feedback Zone, it will show The Flash/EEPROM operation completed successfully. That means the new IP address has been written to flash successfully.
