The GE Fanuc IC695CHS016 backplane is a universal backplane from the GE RX3i PACSystems series. It is a dual-bus universal backplane that is made to accommodate option modules, serial I/O modules, and PCI-based I/O modules. The IC695CHS016 universal backplane is made to be mounted horizontally on a rack in a GE RX3i PACSystems PLC. It needs about 4 inches or 102 millimeters of clearance around it on all sides so that it and the modules that it hosts can dissipate heat properly and experience air-cooling. The IC695CHS016 universal backplane comes with 16 slots and its dimensions are 5.6 inches x 23.7 inches x 5.8 inches in height, length, and depth, respectively.


The GE Fanuc RX3i PACSystems IC695CHS016 universal backplane with 16 slots needs an enclosure with an ingress protection rating of IP 20 or NEMA/UL Type 1 for safe operation in an industrial environment. Its internal current power ratings are 240 milliamps at 5 Volts DC and 600 milliamps at 3.3 Volts DC. The IC695CHS016 universal backplane is equipped with a grounding bar and a grounding point for protection. It supports serial expansion with its serial expansion connector.
