The IC695CBL003 energy pack cable is a purpose-built cable from GE Fanuc. It is designed to be used with the GE IC695ACC403 energy pack and the GE IC695ACC413 replacement cap pack modules. The IC695CBL003 energy pack cable is 24 inches in length. It is used to connect the energy pack to its compatible controller. This cable does not come with the CPU or energy pack module that it is used with, but it can be ordered separately. It comes with straight through keyed connectors that have an end to end wiring setup. It is connected to the connector which is situated on the bottom of the energy pack and to the CPU connector which is also located on the bottom of the CPU when it connects these devices.

 

The IC695CBL003 energy pack cable ensures durable and reliable connection facilities with its easy to use connectors. It also provides the facilities to monitor the status of the energy and cap packs through the central processing unit. During installation, make sure that the CPU and energy packs are switched off to avoid injuries. This cable assembly has a 7-pin connector to connect the cable to the mating connector on the CPU. It also has pre-wired pig-tailed connectors for connections on the energy pack side. The IC695CBL003 energy pack cable primarily helps to avoid the data loss in a CPU that can occur due to sudden power loss or power interruption. When wiring all the equipment, including the energy pack and the CPU, the system must be grounded properly. A tied internal shield drain can be found on this cable assembly which can be easily connected to the ground point of the system.
