The IC695CBL002 energy pack cable belongs to the RX3i series of cables made by GE Fanuc. It is designed to connect the GE IC695ACC402/412 energy pack and cap pack to the CPE330 CPU. The cable is 1 meter in length. It is also known as a memory backup power cable which is used to connect the energy pack with its relevant control processing units. The IC695CBL002 energy pack cable has end to end wiring with straight-through keyed connectors. This cable has PVC insulation with tinned copper conductors. Its crimp contacts have 10 microinches of gold on the contact area, 150 microinches of tin on the solder area, and 50 microinches of nickel underplating on the whole surface. The material of the crimp housing is Nylon 66 or equivalent.             

 

The IC695CBL002 energy pack cable allows the CPU to monitor the status of the energy pack or cap pack. This replacement CPU connecting cable provides reliable and easy connection facilities. It has 2 pig-tailed pre-wired connectors which can be mated with the 2 connectors on the energy pack. When connecting the energy pack to the controller, make sure that the power to the CPU is turned off. The connection can be easily made by connecting the 7-pin keyed connectors of the cable assembly to the mating connectors which can be found on the bottom of the controller. The IC695CBL002 energy pack cable assembly ties all the internal shield drains to the common ground point of the system wiring since proper grounding must always be maintained.
