The IC695ALG112 input module is an industrial analog input module from the GE Fanuc RX3i PACSystems product line. It hosts 12 input channels that are all isolated. The IC695ALG112 analog input module only needs 1 slot in an RX3i PACSystems backplane to be securely installed, but it can only be installed specifically in an RX3i universal backplane. The firmware that the IC695ALG112 analog input module uses needs to be RX3i CPU firmware that is version 5.0 or later. This analog input module is designed to be flexible and it can run on both voltage and current, and it can also be programmed with different voltage or current ranges depending on the applications that it is intended for.

The voltage ranges that the GE Fanuc RX3i PACSystems IC695ALG112 analog input module can operate with are ranges of 0 Volts to 10 Volts, -10 Volts to +10 Volts, 0 Volts to 5 Volts, -5 Volts to +5 Volts, and 1 Volt to 5 Volts. The operating current ranges that the IC695ALG112 analog input module can support are -20 milliamps to +20 milliamps, 0 milliamps to 20 milliamps, and 4 milliamps to 20 milliamps. The software in the IC695ALG112 analog input module is completely configurable by the users, and this module does not need a jumper for setup. This module also has diagnostics features that scan it every time it starts up and during operation to detect errors as quickly as possible and allow the operators to intervene and prevent severe component damage, serious injury, and lost data.

The analog input will settle to 0.1% of its final value within 1.7mS for a step change on the input pins of the module. (Any digital filtering is in addition to

this time.)

Digital Filtering Settling Time (milliseconds)

The settling time depends on the configured  filter time.

Analog Module Scan Time (milliseconds)

The modules provide a new sample every 1mS, regardless of the digital filtering selected. See Digital Filtering Settling Time for the amount of time

required to have settled  data.

Calibrated Accuracy

0.1             % of range at 25°C

0.2             % of range over entire temperature span

In the presence of severe RF interference (IC 801-3, 10V/M), accuracy may be degraded  by 2.0%  of range.
