Technical Information

The IC695ACC651 card is an Rx3i I/O adapter card manufactured by GE Intelligent Platforms and GE Fanuc as part of the Rx3i PACSystems series. This I/O adapter card is used for the connection of the existing Series 90-70 field wiring to the replacement Rx3i series input and output modules. The adapter card is used with the IC695ACC650 9-slot conversion rack, or the IC695ACC652 5-slot conversions rack both from Series 90-70. These conversion racks and the IC695ACC651 Rx3i input and output adapter card work together, allowing the operators to convert the existing Series 90-70 systems to the PACSystems Rx3i systems, thus helping to reduce the installation time. Some of the features of this adapter card include compatibility with the I/O terminal blocks in Series 90-70 and support for up to 240 Volts and 8 Amps rated connections to the I/O modules. It also features a maximum surrounding air temperature rating of 140 degrees Fahrenheit.

 

The GE Fanuc IC695ACC651 Rx3i I/O adapter card comes with molded latches that snap spontaneously onto the lower and upper rails of the conversion racks that are the ACC652 or the ACC650 racks whenever the module is completely inserted. It also has the M2.5x11 collar screws that bolt the adapter card firmly into the rack. There are guidelines that the users should follow on how to remove the IC695ACC651 I/O adapter card from the slot in the rack properly without damaging it. If the Series 90-70 input and output terminal block assembly is connected to the I/O adapter card already, it should be removed by first turning the jackscrew in a counterclockwise direction until it disengages completely.
