Technical Information

The GE Fanuc IC695ACC650 rack is a conversion rack manufactured as a member of the GE Rx3i product line. It is designed for converting the Series 90-70 systems to Rx3i PACSystems, which would, in turn, reduce the downtime when installing the module. The conversion rack serves as a bridge between newer models and the existing Series 90-70 systems. GE Fanuc IC695ACC650 conversion rack is similar to the 9-slot Series 90-70 rack. It can handle the input and output adapter and it can also connect to the terminal block assembly to enhance the field wiring. Additionally, it supports both horizontal and vertical mounting, and it uses mounting brackets for the Rx3i PACSystems. The installation and maintenance of this conversion rack is easy. It can be mounted on a 16-slot, 12-slot, or 7-slot backplane.

 

The Rx3i IC695ACC650 conversion rack provides support for optional adapter plates, and it comes with both adapter plates and mechanical plates. When installing this rack, it is recommended that the terminal block be removed first. The captive screws of this rack have a torque rating of 2.5 N-m. The field wiring should only be connected after the installation of I/O adapters in the rack. The GE Fanuc IC695ACC650 conversion rack has a ground lug gauge of not less than 12-AWG. It provides LED indicators for the Rx3i PACSystems. Additionally, the rack has mounting slotted brackets to enhance installation. This conversion rack is made of high quality, durable material, and it is ideal for use in harsh environments. During installation, the rack should be appropriately grounded to reduce the risk of electric shock.
