Rx3i Energy PAC for CPU IC695CPE330 Provides RAM Memory back up for ~5 years
The IC695ACC402 energy pack belongs to the GE Fanuc PACSystems RX3i series of modules and accessories. The IC695ACC402 energy pack is designed for use with the CPE330 RX3i Control Processing Units. The main responsibility of this module is to maintain and protect the user memory of the controller in a situation where the power is interrupted. The power that is supplied by this module during a power loss is sufficient to write the content of the user memory to non-volatile memory. It is recommended to use the GE IC95CBL002 cable which is designed specifically for connecting this energy pack module with the CPE330 Control Processing Unit.
The IC695ACC402 energy pack can be mounted on an EB50022 DIN rail or it can connect directly to a panel. However, it should be mounted adjacent to the CPE330 controller to meet all the design requirements. The 25 millimeters of minimum clearance must be maintained on all 4 sides for proper heat dissipation. The IC695ACC402 energy pack is designed to mount easily on a standard DIN rail without using any tools. Since this module is considered to be open equipment with user-accessible live electrical parts, it is advised to install it in a proper enclosure to meet industrial safety standards. It is suitable for use in Class 1, Division 2, Group A, B, C, and D rated hazardous locations with a proper enclosure. The enclosure of the module must only be able to be opened by using tools. This module must be grounded properly. It comes with 3 indicator LEDs that are the “IN,” “STAT,” and “OUT” LEDs.
