The IC695ACC302 module is a RX3i PACSystems GE Fanuc-manufactured auxiliary smart battery module. It provides extended backup for the volatile memory in a machine. It is reliable and it has a “low battery” detection feature. It is compatible with different RX3i PACSystems devices. The battery is a 3-cell lithium ion battery and comes with an output voltage rating of 3 Volts DC. It also has a capacity of 15 Amps per hour. The IC695ACC302 is part of the GE intelligent platform and it is mostly used in the industrial sector. The surrounding air temperature should be between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius for optimal operation. The battery is CE certified and it comes with different industrial standards. The battery should not be exposed to high heat and sources of electromagnetic radiation.
During the installation of the IC695ACC302 battery, the CPU should be powered on with the mains. The battery will start draining if it is connected when the power is turned off. The 4-pin male JAE connector should be connected to the female 4-pin JAE connector on the battery module first. The IC695ACC302 battery comes with a battery monitoring circuit that enables the operators to detect a low battery before the battery is completely drained. The battery cable is placed into the notch in the bottom of the battery compartment of the RX3i PACSystems. The battery is lightweight and it weighs 224 grams. It has dimensions of 5.7 inches in length, 2.55 inches in width, and 1.57 inches in height. The outer case material is black and made of flame-retardant ABS plastic material.
