The GE Fanuc IC694MDR390 PACSystems RX3i discrete I/O module is a 16-point mixed discrete I/O module for the PACSystems RX3i control system. The PACSystems RX3i System is a compact, modular, and high-performance rack-based system built to provide I/O control solutions to a wide range of application processes including hybrid and discrete applications. The IC694MDR390 I/O module has 16 I/O circuit points (8 inputs and 8 outputs) that are individually isolated. The output consists of 8 isolated relay output points (normally open) arranged in 2 groups of 4 output points each. Each output group has a common power terminal, and every output point within each group can be used for controlling the user-supplied output load. The IC694MDR390 I/O module’s input has 8 individually-isolated input channels that can be configured for either positive or negative signals based on either the current sinking or sourcing from user-supplied power.
The IC694MDR390 I/O module’s input is compatible with a wide range of input devices such as pushbuttons, limit switches, and electronic proximity switches, and the output sends out signals to output devices such as motor starters, solenoids, and indicators. The IC694MDR390 I/O module is compatible with the PACSystem RX3i CPUs (all versions), and the application parameters can be configured by using the Proficy Machine Edition (PME) configuration software (version 7.0, or 7.5 and above). The IC694MDR390 I/O module can be installed on any slot of the RX3i PLC rack, and the power for all the relay circuits is provided by the 24 Volts DC backplane power source. The IC694MDR390 I/O module does not support hot module insertion or removal. It comes with 16 individually-labelled LED status indicators.
