Technical Information

The GE Fanuc IC694MDL730 positive logic output module is a product of GE Intelligent Platforms and GE Fanuc. It operates on a power rating of 12 to 24 Volts DC and 2 Amps, and provides a single group of 8 outputs with a common terminal for the power output. This output module comes with positive logic characteristics, and it sources the current from the positive power bus or user common to the loads. It is connected between the module output and the negative power bus in a system. The output properties of the IC694MDL730 positive logic output module are well-matched with a variety of load devices, including solenoids, motor starters, and indicators.

 

The IC694MDL730 output module comes with individually numbered LED indicators that show the on and off status of every output point. It has a red LED labeled “F” that lights up when any of the fuses blows. There must also be a load connected to the fuse that is blown for this LED indicator to turn on. The IC694MDL730 positive logic output module features 2 fuses rated at 5 Amps, and each fuse protects 4 of the outputs. The first fuse is dedicated to the protection of outputs A1 to A4, while the second fuse protects outputs A5 to A8. These fuses are connected electrically to a similar common. The blue band labels show that the GE Fanuc MDL730 positive logic output module is a low-voltage module. It is installed on any of the input and output slots of the Series 90-30 system or the Rx3i PACSystems. Additionally, it supports removal from and insertion into an Rx3i universal backplane that is powered on.
