Product Description

The IC694MDL390 is a GE Fanuc 120/240 VAC, 2 Amp, 5-Point Isolated Output Module for the Rx3i PACSystem. It can be used to replace the IC697MDL341 discrete output module from series 90-70 PLCs. This particular module has five isolated outputs (versus the previous version’s 12 individually isolated outputs). The commons are not connected inside the module, and the output circuits can be used on different phases of the AC supply or powered from the same supply. User-supplied AC Power is required to operate the output-connected loads. AC power is the singular option as DC power is not compatible.

The IC694MDL390 module is equipped with individual outputs with 3 amp fuses. Furthermore, the RC snubber helps to prevent electrical noise that could occur on the line. A wide variety of incandescent and inductive loads can be handled by the IC694MDL390. The IC694MDL390 module has five LEDs that monitor the status of outputs. A red LED will turn ON if an output circuit fuse is faulty. Red bands situated on the label indicate high-voltage. Installation of this module is suitable for any I/O slot in an RX3i system. It should be configured as an 8-point output module with programs that reference the five least significant bits. Max load current is dependent on ambient temps as noted in the manual. Inrush current is 25 amps max for one cycle. Minimum load current is 100mA. Power consumption runs 110mA with all outputs ON from a 5V bus on the backplane.
