The GE Fanuc IC694MDL350 is a 120/240 Volt AC, 16 output module that provides 16 isolated output points. Unlike previous models, this module is strongly protected against transient electrical noise from the power line so it doesn’t need an external snubber. The 16 individual outputs can handle a wide variety of inductive and incandescent loads. Output loads require a user-supplied external AC power supply to operate. A DIP switch is located on the back side of the output module IC694MDL350 and is used to control output default mode. It can be set to Force Off or Hold Last State. To use this switch, the user must remove the module from the backplane.
On the front side of the module, indication LEDs helps the user monitor output use. These individually numbered LEDs indicate ON and OFF status and also monitors the terminal block. Additionally, there are two red bands on the door card that alert the user to the module’s high voltage. The IC694MDL350 can be connected to box-style, spring style, or extended versions of the terminal block. Extended terminal blocks offer extra shroud depth normally needed for field wiring to AC devices. Terminal blocks will need to be ordered separately. This module can work in any Rx3i system I/O slot; however, it must be used with a version 3.50 or greater RX3i CPU. It cannot be used with a 90-30 series PLC CPU.
