Product Description

IC694ALG222 is a 16-Channel Analog Voltage Input Module manufactured by GE Fanuc that provides 16 single-ended (or eight) differential input channels. Each channel can be configured using configuration software for either input range options: 0 to 10 V (unipolar) or default -10 to +10 V (bipolar). High/low alarm limits can also be configured for unipolar or bipolar ranges. The IC694ALG222 can be installed in any I/O slot of an RX3i system.

Location of the IC694ALG222 module is important when identifying the appropriate power source. If the IC694ALG222 module is located in a Universal Backplane, an external source of Isolated +24 VDC is needed. The external source should be connected using the TB1 connector on the left side of the backplane. If the module is in an Expansion Backplane, the power supply provides the Isolated +24 VDC.

Status information is indicated by the MODULE OK LED on power-up. ON means the status is OK, and the module is configured. OFF means there is no backplane power, or the software is not running (in other words, the watchdog timer has timed out. If the LED displays continuous rapid flashing, this suggests that configuration data is not being received from the CPU. Slow flashing followed by OFF indicates failed power-up diagnostics or a code execution error. The Module P/S LED confirms that the module’s +5 VDC supply meets the minimum designated level.
