Technical Information

The IC694ACC311 terminal block is manufactured by GE Fanuc for use with the GE IC694xx I/O modules. It comes with 6 terminal boxes in a pack and each block has 20 terminals. This module belongs to the PACSystem RX3i family of accessories. The IC694ACC311 terminal block is a removable front terminal block assembly that can be easily removed or inserted into the I/O module that hosts it. The IC694ACC311 terminal block comes with a fully-hinged door that can be opened to the left or to the right to easily access the wiring. The connections of the I/O module are made through this 20-terminal removable block efficiently. A printed label with wiring information can be found on the door of the module.

 

The IC694ACC311 terminal block can only be used with medium density IC694xx I/O modules. It has 20 screw terminals that accept 2 AWG #22 to 2 AWG #16 copper wires or 1 AWG #14 copper wire rated at 90 degrees Celsius. Standard or solid wires can be used with each terminal. However, make sure to select wires that are all the same type for a terminal block to have better connectivity. This module can be installed by inserting the pivot hook on the bottom of the terminal block to the slot which is located at the bottom of the module. It is recommended to press the block toward the module until it is seated firmly in place. Removing and replacing the terminal block is easy because the user has to open the block’s door to push the release lever up to unlock the terminal block. After unlocking the block, it can be easily pulled away from the I/O module.
