The STXRTB209 terminal block is a terminal block assembly that has been designed by GE Fanuc and included in the PACSystems RSTi series, specifically in the accessory catalog. This terminal block assembly has been designed to be used exclusively with the GE Fanuc STXDNSxxx and the ST-7x41 devices. This assembly does not require a specific network in order to be used and it includes 9 pieces that are meant to be joined together to create the whole assembly. The GE Fanuc STXRTB209 terminal block assembly can be used easily with compatible devices that provide sufficient isolation so that it can operate without being affected by external signals. This isolation is 500 Volts AC for 1 minute (from the terminal block to the F.G.) and 1500 Volts AC for 1 minute when connected to an AC module. The PACSystems series provides a cost-effective and modular I/O system that is suited for distributed applications in different environments.

 

The GE Fanuc STXRTB209 terminal block assembly is located on the front part of the module. Since it is removable, it enables the users to install the assembly easily when it is required by the application. Different environmental conditions need to be met so that the terminal block assembly and the whole module can operate without any problems. These conditions consist of a temperature range of 0 to 50 degrees Celsius and a non-operating temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The GE Fanuc STXRTB209 terminal block assembly is located on the physical structure of the module, and the module is meant to be mounted on a DIN rail. This assembly comes with an IP 20 rated level of protection by default.
