The STXPBS925 module is an RSTi Profibus module with 16 negative logic source inputs rated at 24 Volts DC and 16 isolated relay outputs. It can be expanded with 8 additional modules. GE Fanuc/Emerson Intelligent Platforms manufactures this unit as part of the RSTi PACSystems product line. It is a network adapter module that is made for use with a slave module that has integrated inputs and outputs. The input and output current specifications for the STXPBS925 Profibus module include 2 Amps of current at 5 to 24 Volts DC or 250 Volts AC, 0.8 Amps at 48 Volts DC, 0.5 Amps at 110 Volts DC, and 100 uA at 100 millivolts DC per point. This RSTi Profibus module is designed to provide a compact and distributed I/O solution. It is easy to manage and upgrade and it also supports easy configuration.

It offers high-speed communication that is enhanced to be able to handle the large amounts of data that the devices can generate. It has a non-operating tolerable temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius and it supports DIN rail mounting for both horizontal and vertical mounting. The maximum wire size for the wiring I/O cable is AWG 14 gauge cable.
