Technical Information

The STXPBS924 module is an RSTi Profibus module with sixteen 24 Volts DC rated source negative logic inputs and 8 relay outputs, and it can be expanded with up to 8 additional modules. It is manufactured by GE Fanuc/Emerson Intelligent Platforms as part of the RSTi PACSystems product family. This unit provides a compacted and distributed I/O solution and it is easy to configure, upgrade, and manage. The module features Ethernet-based RSTi I/O and it offers high-speed communications that are boosted to enable it and the connected devices to generate massive amounts of data. The GE Fanuc/Emerson STXPBS924 module and the other RSTi I/O modules are intended to unlock the full continuity, collaboration, and connectivity potential of the whole control system. It uses a slave device with integrated I/O and it also has a Profibus network adapter.

 

Some of the I/O specifications of the GE Fanuc/Emerson STXPBS924 Profibus module include 2 Amps of rated current at 5 to 24 Volts DC or at 250 Volts AC. It also features 0.5 Amps of rated current at 110 Volts DC and 0.8 Amps at 48 Volts DC. The RSTi distributed I/O modules are designed to offer increased uptime, optimal and higher than average levels of performance, and reduced installation time and costs. The STXPBS924 RSTi Profibus module comes with a wide range of features, including an easy-to-remove terminal block (TB), a push and release spring-clamp release wiring connection option, and connection test points. It also has a spring clamp wire connection that accepts 14 AWG wire. This unit is color-coded to make module identification easy.
