Technical Information

The STXPBS825 module from GE Fanuc/Emerson Intelligent Platforms is manufactured as an RSTi Profibus module with sixteen 24 Volts DC rated sink positive logic inputs. It also has 16 isolated relay outputs, which can be expanded with another 8 modules. This automation product belongs to the RSTi PACSystems product line and its I/O characteristics include 2 Amps of rated current at 5 to 24 Volts DC or 250 Volts AC. It also has a current rating of 0.8 Amps at 48 Volts DC and 0.5 Amps of rated current at 110 Volts DC. Another specification of this module is 100 uA with 100 millivolts DC per point. It comes with a Profibus network adapter and it is used with a slave device that has integrated I/O. The STXPBS825 RSTi Profibus module is easy to manage, easy to upgrade, and easy to configure. It also features a distributed and compact I/O design that gives it a long operating life. Additionally, it has Ethernet-based slice inputs and outputs that provide a high level of performance as well as flexibility.

 

The GE Fanuc/Emerson STXPBS825 RSTi Profibus module is specially engineered and intended to unlock the full potential for connectivity and collaboration in industrial control systems. It has status LED indicators and a terminal block that is easy to remove. Other specifications include connection test points, a secure module-to-module slide and lock connector design, and a DIN rail locking and unlocking mounting mechanism. The STXPBS825 Profibus module has a spring clamp wire connection that supports the use of the 14 AWG wire. It also comes with a tool-less spring clamp release feature that allows for a push/release wiring connection. This unit has color-coding that enhances module identification in a large-scale system.
