RSTi Profibus with 24VDC source (Negative Logic) input, 32 points, expandable to 8 additional modules.
The STXPBS132 RSTi Profibus module is manufactured by GE Fanuc/Emerson as a member of the RSTi PACSystems series. It has 24 Volts DC rated source negative logic inputs with 32 input points, and it is expandable with as many as 8 additional modules. The input specifications include an off-state voltage of less than 5 Volts DC, an on-state voltage of greater than 9 Volts DC, and a resistance rating of 5.4 kiloohms. Like most RSTi modules, the STXPBS132 Profibus module has Ethernet-based slice inputs that help to offer greater performance and flexibility. It also features compact and distributed inputs that help to provide it with a longer operating lifespan than average. In addition to being easy to configure, this Profibus module is upgradeable and easy to manage. It is intended for use with a slave device that has incorporated inputs and outputs. The RSTi modules' features include increased uptime, low cost of installation, a high level of performance, and low cost per point. The STXPBS132 Profibus module also offers system simplification, reduced network impedance, and reduced development time.
Other notable features of the GE Fanuc/Emerson STXPBS132 RSTi Profibus Modules and other PACSystems series modules include the sliding locking and unlocking mechanism for DIN rail mounting. The STXPBS132 Profibus module also has a protected module-to-module slide and lock design for connecting to other modules. This module is color-coded to enhance its identification process. It also has LED indicators that show the module's status and a terminal block that is easy to remove. The module and system power at Pin 0 is 24 Volts DC, while at Pin 1, it is 0 Volts DC. There are 5 Volts DC bus pins that pass power from one module to another, and communication data also passes from one module to another through these pins.
