The Emerson/GE Fanuc STXPBS001 RSTi PROFIBUS DP/V1 Slave Network Adapter is a communication interface that is specifically designed to integrate an RSTi programmable logic controller into a PROFIBUS industrial automation network. This network adapter draws its power from a 24 Volts DC power supply, and it provides the users with flexibility and expandability because it is able to incorporate up to 32 modules into the system. The Emerson/GE Fanuc STXPBS001 RSTi PROFIBUS DP/V1 Slave Network Adapter has a nominal current rating of 60 milliamps, and its I/O Bus is able to deliver a maximum of 5 Amps of current while operating at 5 Volts DC. This adapter is an essential component for modernizing industrial control systems because the PROFIBUS network is one of the most commonly used industrial communication protocols.

 

The Emerson/GE Fanuc STXPBS001 RSTi PROFIBUS DP/V1 Slave Network Adapter is constructed in an open style with a very low environmental protection rating of only IP 20. Because of this, the manufacturer strongly recommends placing the device inside a climate-controlled environment, in order to make sure the operating temperature remains between -20 and 60 degrees Celsius (-4 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit) at all times.
