Technical Information

The GE Fanuc STXMBE001 RSTi Modbus TCP slave network adapter is a communications board and it constitutes the data interface that allows for the operation of an RSTi programmable logic controller or PLC in a Modbus TCP environment. This GE Fanuc STXMBE001 Modbus TCP Slave Network Adapter requires the connection of an external 24 Volts DC power source or it could also be mounted directly in an available slot in the RSTi backplane. The GE Fanuc STXMBE001 Modbus TCP Slave Network Adapter is useful for legacy equipment or processes that need to be modernized and that uses the Modbus TCP communication protocol. For installation in legacy panel boards, it is always recommended to make the proper adaptations in order to guarantee adequate temperature regulation, IP protection, and humidity control for all of the equipment.

 

The GE Fanuc STXMBE001 Modbus TCP Slave Network Adapter can be used as a part of the control system in motion control applications, industrial instrumentation applications, process monitoring applications, and control systems applications. The GE Fanuc STXMBE001 Modbus TCP Slave Network Adapter is small and lightweight, which facilitates the process of installing it as a standalone module inside a legacy panel board. The programming and configuration of the device in the PLC control architecture is easy. The ideal operational temperature range is between -20 and 60 degrees Celsius (-4 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit). In work environments where the temperatures can be lower or higher than the ones in this specified range, it is strongly recommended to install a climate control system or forced ventilation system.
