The STXKITMBE001 kit is an RSTi Modbus TCP starter kit manufactured by GE Fanuc. It works with various Modbus devices that support simple vendor communication that is meant for the supervision and control of equipment covering the application of Modbus on the internet, especially when using the IP/TCP communication protocols. Other common applications include Ethernet connections to PLCs, gateways to simple I/O networks and fields bus devices, and I/O module applications. The STXKITMBE001 RSTi Modbus TCP starter kit is sold as a de facto standard automation kit because of its flexibility and compatibility. The STXKITMBE001 kit is also usable in programming language protocols for PLCs, and this is made possible by regrouping messages to be part of a conformance class which is eventually implemented universally or ignored as just alternatives in an application.

 

The STXKITMBE001 RSTi Modbus TCP starter kit is made for the Modbus TCP slave network interface that features 8 outputs rated at 24 Volts DC. When it comes to data transactions in this Modbus interface, the interface is stateless which is why it is highly resistant to disruptions from things such as EMC noise and it requires bare minimum maintenance at either end to ensure data recovery. It needs the proper connections in order to be programmed, and the connections are made possible using the 2 options available, which are the program path and the login token. With a single connection on this interface device, multiple independent connections are achieved. Therefore, the interface handles both token login and program path situations by maintaining the duplex association until this association is explicitly broken down.
