Technical Information

The STXKITDNS001 kit is a DeviceNet RSTi starter kit made by GE Fanuc. It features 8 source output points rated at 24 Volts DC source outputs with an input current rating of 4 to 20 milliamps. This innovative starter kit is incorporated with various RSTI tools. Even though it is not equipped with a mounting device, the STXKITDNS001 kit is still mountable on a DIN rail with a minimum length of 6 inches, which is about 150 millimeters, and it is accompanied by a Controller with PROFINET connectivity. There are 2 Ethernet ports that accommodate the RJ-45 cable to support communication over the internet which can be monitored on the interface terminal. The supported networks are the serial and Ethernet networks. Since it is an I/O series kit, it has an I/O configuration tool for devices such as the Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP, PROFIBUS, and Modbus serial devices.

The GE Fanuc STXKITDNS001 DeviceNet RSTi starter kit features 2 independent power systems (the field power supply and module systems) that are meant for Pin 4 and Pin 5 at 0 Volts DC and for Pin 6 and Pin 7 when the voltage is 24 Volts DC. A 5 Volts DC pin Bus permits the power from a module to be transferred to the next one in the system. The modules that the STXKITDNS001 DeviceNet RSTi starter kit is made for are color coded for easy identification. Furthermore, 4 indicators are available and they are 2 green and 2 red LEDs that are used to indicate the individual component status and overall performance of the STXKITDNS001 DeviceNet RSTi starter kit.
