Technical Information

The STXKITCCL001 module is a CC-link RSTi starter kit manufactured by GE Fanuc as a network interface kit. The module in this starter kit is equipped with a 24 Volts DC input (the ST-1218). The STXKITCCL001 module has a color-coded module identification tab that enhances its traceability within the system and allows for instant recognition. On the lower part of the module, there is a tool-less spring clamp that is useful for securing the STXKITCCL001 module tightly onto the mounting surface to prevent any device movements or separation. It is also equipped with an easy-to-remove terminal block. The terminal block has wires with colored insulators surrounding it and the terminal block is the connection test point. The block and the wires are made for testing circuitry and they are metallic on the printed circuit board.

 

The innovative design of the STXKITCCL001 module enables power and communication data to be passed from one module to another easily. The module comes with an integrated interlocking mechanism for securing modules side by side and a similar mechanism for mounting on a DIN rail. Pin 0 (24 Volts DC) and Pin 1 (0 Volts DC) on the module pass power from one module to the next one via the 5 Volts DC Bus pins. There should be a system made of an independent power module and a field power module with Pins 4 and 5 rated at 0 Volts DC and Pins 6 and 7 rated at 24 Volts DC. This module is I/O enabled and it can support 14 AWG gauge wires and other serial communication cables, end cap covers, and analog input and analog output modules like the ST-3214) and the ST-4212, respectively. Additionally, it has Profinet network adapters.
