The GE Fanuc STXDNS925 module is a DeviceNet module from the RSTi series. It is an Ethernet-based Slice I/O module that helps to deliver high performance and flexibility. It is easy to install, manage, and configure. This module has 16 source inputs, and an 8 isolated relay outputs powered with 24 Volts DC power This communication module is expandable with up to 10 additional modules. The module offers higher performance, increased up time, reduced development time, and better network independence than other I/O modules. A DIN rail is present on the bottom for installing the module in the I/O rack that it is intended for. It also has a secure slide and lock mounting mechanism for a firm hold. The front panel of the module has a color coded identification strip. There are LED indicators on the front that show the flow of field power, the network status, and the I/O status. They help the users to test the functionality of the network module manually.
The GE Fanuc STXDNS925 module is certified with the CE, cUL, and other industrial standards. The environmental temperature should be in the range between -20 and 50 degrees Celsius for normal operation. A removable terminal block is included that can be easily replaced if necessary. The STXDNS925 module accepts AWG 14 gauge cable that is made for the DeviceNet module and comes with a 5-pin connector. The side of the module has an Ethernet and serial connector that can be used to connect the module to a personal computer. The node address on the module can be switched easily by using a rotary dial. The STXDNS925 module supports different operation modes.
