RSTi DeviceNet with 16 24VDC source (Negative Logic) input and 16 24VDC sink output built-in, expandable to 10 additional modules.
The STXDNS532 interface module is a DeviceNet network interface module manufactured by GE Fanuc. It is a negative logic module with 24 Volts DC input and output voltage. It has 16 input points and 16 output points. This communication module has built-in I/O and it supports expansion with up to 10 modules. This RSTi module is used in modern industries for automating application processes. It is notable for its reduced installation cost and it has a compact size. The STXDNS532 interface module is easy to install and it can be easily replaced. The front section of the network module has a color-coded module identification strip on the top. A removable terminal block is present in the front section that can be installed and replaced easily. The DeviceNet module accepts a spring clamp wire connection by using 14 AWG wire.
The GE Fanuc STXDNS532 interface module runs with a voltage rating of 24 Volts DC with a field supply current of 10 Amps. The DeviceNet protocol is an industrial communication protocol that is made to communicate with different devices in the same network. It is mounted on the left side of the I/O rack. The module is certified with different industrial and environmental standards. The STXDNS532 interface module needs a clean environment with no EMC noise and corrosive gases in order to operate properly The ambient operating temperature should be set between -20 and 50 degrees Celsius with 5 to 90% ambient relative humidity without condensation. It comes with a variable baud rate that can be auto-negotiated as needed. The STXDNS532 interface module uses a dedicated DeviceNet cable with a 5 pin connector on the connector end. The cable length depends on the baud rate and it can range between 100 and 500 meters.
