Technical Information

The STXDNS132 module is a 24 Volts DC rated RSTi DeviceNet module manufactured by GE Fanuc. It comes with negative logic input and it has 32 I/O points. The module can be expanded with up to 10 additional modules. It is an Ethernet based I/O module that can deliver optimal performance and offer flexibility in operation. The DeviceNet open connector has all of the connector points on the front panel. The module can be mounted using a DIN Rail on the left side of the I/O rack. The STXDNS132 module runs with a voltage rating of 24 Volts DC. The field supply current rating of the module is a maximum of 10 Amps. The Fn Bus current supply rating is 1.2 Amps with 5 Volts DC voltage. This module helps in internal communication with other devices in the RSTi series. The module is certified with the UL, cUL, and CE standards.

 

The node address of the GE Fanuc STXDNS132 RSTi DeviceNet module can be easily changed by using the rotating dial that is located on the front of the module. The field power to the DeviceNet module is supplied from an external power supply. There are LED indicators on the front that show the MOD, NET, and I/O status during the operation process. The baud rate can be auto configured. The STXDNS132 RSTi DeviceNet module supports up to 64 nodes. It also supports up to 2016 digital I/O and 126 analog I/O. The module can run in the Bit Strobe, COS, Cyclic, and Polling modes during operation. The surrounding air temperature should be set between -20 and 50 degrees Celsius for regular network operation.
