Technical Information

The ST-7511 module is a booster module that operates at 5 Volts DC. The module is an ID type of  booster module that requires an address on the bus. The module is one of the parts needed for a fully functional PACSystems RSTi system and it is a reliable component that operates at the highest level. The ST-7511 module is part of a system that ensures increased uptime and reduced development time. The system is able to detect network and I/O errors that may cause machine damage or downtime quickly and it is designed to ensure minimum downtime due to the powerful diagnostics features of the controller and the system itself. The RSTi system is far superior to traditional field buses in regard to performance and simplicity of operation. The optimized machine cycle times help the users gain better control of their industrial application processes. 

 

Additionally, the PACSystems RSTi system that includes the ST-7511 module will reduce overall costs since the wiring and installation processes are designed to be simple. The system also provides reduced machine commissioning time, network independence, lower cost per point, and greater expansion capability than other systems have. The ST-7511 module features a system input voltage range of 11 Volts DC to 28.8 Volts DC. In addition to that, the nominal input voltage for the system power is 24 Volts DC. The maximum Fn-Bus output voltage is 5 Volts DC while the rated current is 1 Amp. The field power contacts current rating is 10 Amps maximum. The ST-7511 module includes LED indicators and its weight is 70 grams (0.15 pounds).
