Technical Information

The ST-7508 module is a GE Fanuc module that integrates with industrial RSTi control systems. This power distribution module is rated for 0 Volts DC and it reserves a bus ID because it needs an address on the bus. The commons group of the ST-7508 module provides a connection with the 0 Volts DC field power bus. The power from the field bus is channeled to the module on the right side by using this module. The ST-7508 module is a system component that is highly reliable and it is extremely easy to install. The compatible RSTi system operates through the PROFINET network interface and it uses the Proficy Machine Edition software. The system offers modern diagnostics, a network interface with a maximum of 32 slice I/O modules, easy troubleshooting through the built-in test points positioned on the terminal block, removable terminal blocks, an advanced locking mechanism that holds the modules firmly on the DIN rail, and an integrated slide and lock design.

 

The GE Fanuc ST-7508 power distribution module has 8 available I/O points for operation and it has a field power voltage rating of 0 Volts DC. The maximum current rating of the field power contacts is 10 Amps. Additionally, this power distribution module features 1 green LED indicator and 1 red LED indicator for showing the users the operating status of the module. The weight of the ST-7508 power distribution module is 65 grams (0.14 pounds). All of the system modules from the same series weigh less than 70 grams (0.15 pounds).
