Technical Information

The ST-7241 isolated field distribution module is a non-ID type of support model that does not need a bus address. This system component is produced by GE Fanuc and it integrates perfectly with other parts like booster modules, field power modules, shield termination modules, and distribution modules. The ST-7241 module is a component that operates under the network interface field power and it is built for several field power input voltage ranges. The supported arbitrary voltages are 5 Volts DC, 24 Volts DC, 48 Volts DC, 110 Volts AC, and 220 Volts AC. The ST-7241 module has a field power contacts current of a maximum of 10 Amps and it is a non-indication module. The module does not show status updates but it includes many other features that improve its overall performance.

 

The ST-7241 module has a weight of 70 grams or 0.15 pounds and it uses an I/O cable with a maximum gauge of AWG 14 for field wiring. The ST-7241 module is a valuable component of the PACSystems RSTi system that features the following benefits: reduced development time, reduced installation costs, simplified disassembly and reassembly, network independence, higher performance, and increased uptime compared to the specifications of other similar industrial systems. The physical characteristics of the system include connection test points, color coded module identification tabs, the module ID, and the status LEDs. The system has a spring clamp wire connection that accepts 14 AWG wire and it features a DIN rail and locking mounting. The design of the module allows it to slide and lock into place when mounted and to be removed with an easy spring clamp release without tools.
