Technical Information

The product code ST-7118 is used for a 24 Volts DC distribution module that comes with 8 I/O points and field power contacts with a maximum current rating of 10 Amps. The module does not include bus ID type support and it does not require a bus address. The ST-7118 module is designed and manufactured by GE Fanuc and it is part of GE Fanuc’s product line of distributed slice I/O components. The module is compatible with the PACSystems RSTi system which is built from high-performance components that meet the CE standards. The system features increased uptime, reduced installation time, cost effectiveness, and easy maintenance and configuration requirements, and it is easy to upgrade.

 

The ST-7118 module is part of an improved system that has components with reduced sizes and robust housings. All of these components are built from high-quality materials, especially for the industrial parts that need to provide long-term reliability and safety. The system from the RSTi product family is very versatile in terms of integration and it offers an innovative design that separates it from similar competitive products on the market. The ST-7118 distribution module is part of the product line of system modules along with components like shield termination modules, bus booster modules, isolated field power distribution modules, and extension I/O module. The ST-7118 module does not have LED indicators and it comes without expansion power distribution. The ST-7118 module has a weight of 65 grams (0.14 pounds) and it requires AWG 14 wire. It has a field power voltage rating of 24 Volts DC, Fn-Bus contacts, and field power contacts for field wiring.
