Technical Information

The GE Fanuc ST-4424 module is an analog output module. There are 4 output channels on the module which are rated for 0 to 10 Volts DC voltage. The resolution of the output channel is 12 bits. The ST-4424 output module is compatible with PACSystems RSTi devices from GE Fanuc and these devices are part of a high-performance distributed I/O system which enables increased uptime and reduced installation costs. Modules such as the ST-4424 output module feature a simple push spring clamp terminal and they do not require a special tool for wiring. The terminal block on the module is removable, which makes installation and maintenance easy. A unique locking mechanism on the module secures it onto the DIN rail. The operating temperature range for the ST-4424 output module is from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius. The storage temperature range is from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. 

 

The relative humidity in the environment where the ST-4424 output module is installed should be between 5 and 90%. The ST-4424 output module can be mounted in both vertical and horizontal orientations. The maximum wire size which should be used for terminations on the module is 14 AWG. The operating and non-operating shock ratings for the module are 10 G and 30 G, respectively. Pin 0 on the ST-4424 output module is the output for Channel 0. Pin 1 on the module is the output for Channel 1. Pin 2 on the module is the output for Channel 2 and Pin 3 on the module is the output for Channel 3. Pins 4 to 7 are field grounded at 0 Volts and they are common pins. The ST-4424 output module is certified by the CE and UL standards.
