Technical Information

The ST-3424 module is a 4-channel RSTi analog input module that is manufactured by GE Fanuc. It runs on 0 to 10 Volts DC input voltage and it has 12 bits and 2.44 millivolts per bit of resolution. This module comes with 4 green/red LED indicators for showing the state of the inputs and 1 green/red indicator for the state of the whole module. The GE Fanuc-Emerson ST-3424 analog input module has 4 single-ended channels which are not isolated from each other. This module's other specifications include a maximum power dissipation of 165 milliamps at 5 Volts DC with input to Logic photocoupler isolation. It features a 16-bit integer data format with dimensions of 12 millimeters x 99 millimeters x 70 millimeters and a weight of approximately 70 grams.

 

The ST-3424 analog input module comprises a micro modular remote input system with a variety of digital, analog, and special modules. The system is combined to include separate input and output nodes along with selected bus and node modules. The ST-3424 analog input module features an IP 20 rated enclosure, and it is installed on a standard DIN rail that is 35 millimeters long. Additionally, the IO system provides regular communication between the modules thanks to the unique sliding contact system. The standard module is 12 millimeters wide, and when a 16-channel input/output module is used with it, the complete node comprises 64 inputs and outputs with a width of 90 millimeters. Some of the common bus systems supported by the ST-3424 analog input module include the Modbus-RS485, TCP, RS232, CANopen, CC-Link, and the Profibus DP/Vi systems.
