Technical Information

GE Intelligent Platforms manufactures the ST-3114 RSTi analog input module as a 4-channel analog input module and a current rating of 4 to 20 milliamps. It features a resolution of 12 bits and 4.88 uA/bits with 4 milliseconds of conversion time. The current consumption rating of this module is 156 milliamps at 5 Volts DC. Some of the ST-3114 analog input module’s features make it easy to manage, configure, and upgrade. It is Ethernet-based and the Ethernet technology delivers high performance as well as flexibility. This input module is built to be compact with evenly distributed inputs and this aids in providing it a long life. Like other similar input modules, the ST-3114 RSTi analog input module unlocks the connectivity, collaboration, and continuity of the control systems that it is used in.

 

Other features of the ST-3114 RSTi analog input module include advanced diagnostics functions. It also has a low density of 4 input points that can increase to a high density of 16 input points in a space of 12 millimeters. This module features an RSTi network interface that supports a maximum of 32 slice input and output modules (512 total inputs and outputs). It also comes with a PROFINET network interface that is integrated tightly into the Proficy Machine Edition software. This module also has a simple push spring clamp terminal which does not need to be wired with a wiring tool. It has a removable terminal block that allows for easy installation as well as easy maintenance. The module comes with integrated test points on the terminal block to enhance easy troubleshooting. It features an RSTi innovative design that enables communication, module power, and field power from one module to another.
