Technical Information

The ST-2744 module is a digital output module that is manufactured by Beijer Electronics with 4 relay outputs and a maximum operating voltage of 250 Volts AC at a current rating of 2 Amps. The output voltage ratings supported by this module are 110 Volts AC at 0.5 Amps of resistive current, 250 Volts AC at 2.0 Amps of resistive current, 5 to 28.8 Volts DC at 2 Amps of resistive current, and 48 Volts DC at 0.8 Amps of resistive current. When switched on, it takes about 10 milliseconds to power on and an equal amount of time to power off, which means that the on to off and off to on output delays are equal. The lifetime for the output relay time is about 300 cycles that are resistive and it has an inductance rating of 100 cycles at an initial contact resistance rating of 30 Ohms. It should be noted that this device is an I/O device with a removable terminal block and a cage clamp. It is rated for a voltage drop of 0.5 Volts when operating a resistance load of 24 Volts DC at 2 Amps of current.

 

The current consumption rating of the ST-2744 digital output module is relatively higher than that of the other I/O modules from the same product line, and it is rated at 130 milliamps at a constant DC power rating of 5 Volts DC. The ST-2744 digital output module is a digital output module with LED indicators that consist of the Bus indicator and the output indicators. The Bus indicator is a single red/green LED that is made to show the Bus status while the output indicators are 4 green LEDs that show the operating status of each of the module’s outputs. Additionally, the module can be mounted on a 35-millimeter standard DIN rail. It weighs 65 grams. The physical dimensions are 12 x 99 x 70 millimeters.
