GE ST2514 RSTi output module 4 points, Negative Logic, Diagnostics, 24VDC/ 2A GE-IP

Technical Information

The ST-2514 expansion module manufactured by Beijer Electronics as an expansion unit that has 4 logical outputs featuring Negative Logic PnP technology. The module has an enhanced state drop voltage of 0.5 Volts DC when the ambient temperature is 25 degrees Celsius and an output voltage ranging between 11 and 28.8 Volts DC at 29 Volts DC nominal voltage. The on-state minimum current is rated at 1 Amp. This is a protection measure that ensures that no fatally high current can enter the system and harm the users and the system as a whole. The design of this unit gives it an off-state leakage current of up to 150 uA. This leakage may occur as a result of the discharge of the capacitor. When turned on, the system only delays for 0.3 milliseconds before it starts operating and the same length of time required by the system to turn off, and these delays are known as the output delays.

The Beijer Electronics ST-2514 module features 2 sets of indicators which are 4 green indicators that are made to show the status of the 4 outputs and 1 indicator that can glow either green or red to show the Bus status only. The ST-2514 module  has mechanical dimensions of 12 x 99 x 70 millimeters with a module weight of 70 grams and it consumes 45 milliamps of current at 5 Volts DC with ambient relative humidity levels between 5 and 90 percent (non-condensing.) The ST-2514 expansion module also features output protection from short circuits that accurately and reliably prevents harm to the system and to the system users. Additionally, the output current rating is 0.2 Amps, with 8 Amps of common current.
