Technical Information

The GE Fanuc ST-2124 module is a digital output module from the PACSystems RSTi series, which is part of the GE Intelligent Platforms series. It is a low-density module with only 4 non-TTL inverting outputs. The nominal output voltage rating is 5 Volts DC, the minimum voltage rating is 4.5 Volts DC, and the maximum voltage rating is 5.5 Volts DC. The output module has a surge current of 40 milliamps for 10 milliseconds, recurring after every 1 second. It has 4 green indicators to show the output states and 1 red or green indicator to show the Bus state. The ST-2124 module has an output signal delay from off to on of 0.3 milliseconds maximum and from on to off at 0.3 milliseconds maximum.

 

The ST-2124 digital output module has a maximum output current rating of 20 milliamps per module and a power dissipation of 50 milliamps at 5.0 Volts DC. It has advanced protection capabilities with output short-circuit protection, 6 Volts DC of field power over-voltage protection, and field power reverse voltage protection. It has an EMC compliance certificate, showing that it conforms to the EN-61000-6-2 standard, and an EMI compliance certificate, showing that it conforms to the EN-61000-6-4 standard. The ST-2124 digital output module also has product certifications from UL/cUL and CE. The module has an operating temperature range of -20 to 60 degrees Celsius and a non-operating temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. It has an operational altitude of up to 2000 meters and a relative humidity range between 5 and 95 percent, non-condensing. The output module weighs 0.07 kilograms and its dimensions are 12 millimeters by 99 millimeters by 70 millimeters.
