GE ST1804 RSTi input module 4 points, 110V AC (AC 85V 132V) GE-IP

Technical Information

The ST-1804 input module is a discrete input module that comes from the RSTi product line that contains other devices that are compatible with the PACSystems family of products. This module has been designed by GE Fanuc Automation and it is an industrial solution for machine control applications, especially when it comes to improving the functioning of a PLC that requires additional connections to the ones it already has. This module provides 4 different input circuits that can be useful when it is necessary to connect additional input equipment in a system. The GE Fanuc Automation ST-1804 discrete input module requires a PROFINET network connection so that it can operate properly. Without this network connection, it is impossible to send and receive signals from different devices. Besides this connection, the module needs to be properly connected to each device in the system by using the correct cables and wires that can operate with the rated voltage.

The GE Fanuc Automation ST-1804 discrete input module comes with 4 input points that operate with a voltage rating of 110 Volts AC. This voltage can vary from 85 Volts to 132 Volts AC and the module can be used with other input devices only. This means that output devices cannot be connected under any circumstance to this module. The GE Fanuc Automation ST-1804 discrete input module includes a terminal block so there is no need to install an additional one. The software that is used to configure all of the devices is the GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms Proficy Machine Edition software. Through this software, the users can configure and change the application parameters when needed. Data can also be easily mapped with this software.
