Technical Information

The ST-131F module is a 16-point positive logic discrete input module that has been designed by GE Fanuc Automation and included in the GE RSTi System, specifically the GE PACSystems series. The GE RSTi systems are known to provide high performance and an increased uptime while reducing inventory costs and installation time as well as maintenance. This module operates with positive logic and 16 input points through which input devices can be connected. This solution provides a wide range of equipment that is easy to install, manage, and upgrade when necessary. The GE Fanuc Automation ST-131F 16-point positive logic discrete input module improves the performance of any PLC by providing increased uptime and reduced installation and inventory costs. This part can be built without having all the parts right away and a whole system can be created by adding on new parts as necessary.

 

The GE Fanuc Automation ST-131F 16-point positive logic discrete input module operates with a normal voltage rating of 48 Volts DC and an allowed voltage range of 34 to 60 Volts DC. The positive logic discrete input module also has a point of current consumption that is below 4 milliamps. The GE Fanuc Automation ST-131F 16-point positive logic discrete input module has optocoupler isolation and the connection point that it comes with is a 20P connector. The installation process of this device is relatively simple, but it needs to be performed by a technician just in case more than one connection or additional wiring work is needed so that this input module can fulfill its application purpose correctly. The industrial environment in which the module is going to be installed needs to be clean and chemical-free.
