The EPSCPE100 controller is a stand-alone controller that has been designed by GE Fanuc Automation. This controller is a high-performance controller that is fully compatible with devices from the PACSystems family. This controller meets the industry standards for reliability, robustness, and communication and it has a Level 2 certification. It can be easily installed since it is made to be mounted in a DIN rail and it comes with an extended operating temperature range and with improved diagnostic features compared to earlier versions. The GE Fanuc EPSCPE100 stand-alone controller operates with a media redundancy protocol (MRP) that works as redundancy support measurement and it employs an Ethernet connection so it can communicate with different equipment. This connection supports a maximum of 8 connections through an SRTP Client, a Modbus TCP/IP, and an OPC-US server. It also supports an EDG mechanism with 16 exchanges maximum and a PROFINET connection with 8 devices maximum. 

 

The GE Fanuc EPSCPE100 stand-alone controller comes with a USB 2.0 port that can be useful for printers or human-machine interfaces. Through this controller, the users can program applications in a ladder diagram, structured text, or on a function block diagram. The GE Fanuc EPSCPE100 stand-alone controller supports up to 512 program blocks with a maximum block size of 128 KB. It supports auto-located symbolic variables and 1 MB of configurable data and program memory. The controller comes with module status indicators. There are 2 LED indicators and 1 membrane pushbutton located on the front panel. The function of the pushbutton is to toggle the current of the PLC. Besides being mounted on a DIN rail, the module can also be mounted on a panel by using the panel-mounting adapter that is available in the accessory catalog.
