Product Description

IC755CSS12CDB is a 12.36 inch QuickPanel operator interface manufactured by GE Fanuc Intelligent Platform for its QuickPanel family of industrial interface machines.
This panel runs on Windows Embedded Compact 7 operating system and has a full 32-bit O/S with a graphical user interface (GUI). Its operating system is stored in flash memory and copied to a block of DRAM for execution. Windows Embedded Compact 7 starts immediately after powering or resetting of the unit.

The IC755CSS12CDB is an all-in-one microcomputer designed for maximum flexibility. Its design is based on an advanced ARM core microprocessor that combines a variety of communication options and a high resolution touch screen making this panel adaptable with most industrial equipment in the market today.

Other notable features of this unit include various memory types that satisfy even the most challenging applications in the market. A 512 MB section of DRAM is shared between the operating system, object store, and application memory, and a 256 MB section of non-volatile flash memory is divided between the operating system and persistent storage. 512 KB of battery-backed SRAM provides data storage and protects valuable data during power failure.

To save changes that occur to the Windows registry and to the flash memory, a backup utility is necessary. Backup utility is vital since the IC755CSS12CDB is not battery powered. Another function of the backup utility includes storing changes made to the operating system’s files in the user block of flash memory. It also runs back-up whenever configuration changes occur either to the operating system or any installed application and before the unit shut down.

Manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation, the IC755CSS12CDB terminal is a plug/play Quickpanel operator interface terminal and a member of the Quickpanel product line. This terminal has a 12.3-inch screen size, and it is used as a device for monitoring industrial automation applications. It comes with a color TFT screen that features 800 x 600 pixels of screen resolution, and it has a DRAM capacity of 1 GB. This device is highly efficient, and it has a serial port that enhances communication with support for the RS 232, RS 422, and RS 485 protocols for the local network. The GE Fanuc IC755CSS12CDB terminal also has support for memory expansion by using SDHC card. It features a compact form factor with approximate dimensions of 13.27 x 10.35 x 2.76 inches. This operator terminal runs with a power rating of 30 Watts when in normal operation, and the temperature rating should not exceed 55 degrees Celsius to prevent thermal deration.

The IC755CSS12CDB operator interface terminal is processor-based device, and it features an ARM cortex A8 processor that is used for all logical operations. This device comes with USB ports that are used for the connection of the peripheral devices and with 1 audio out port. This operator terminal also supports the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system which is essential for making the interface work easily and seamlessly. The GE Fanuc IC755CSS12CDB terminal is compliant with all the relevant environmental and industrial standards, and it is approved and listed with the UL standards. It has a NEMA IP 65 enclosure for protection against hazardous environments, and it also supports gasket mounting.
