IC755CSS12CDA is a 12 inch QuickPanel + operator interface designed by GE Platforms. The IC755CSS12CDA is an all-in-one microcomputer built to offer a high-resolution touchscreen operator interface that offers an extensive range of communication choices. The QuickPanel + operator interface is equipped with several types of memory to meet extremely demanding applications.

The IC755CSS12CDA uses Microsoft Windows Embedded Compact 7. The system is a complete 32-bit O/S with a graphical user interface. The operating system is kept in flash memory and duplicated to a block of DRAM for implementation. Immediately following a power-up or reset of the IC755CSS12CDA, the operating system will start. The backup utility will save changes that are made to the Windows Registry or Desktop to flash memory. Users can also utilize the storage manager to repair or format lost or corrupted data volumes. Data volumes that exist in the SD card, battery-backed SRAM, or USB Flash Keys can be repaired by the storage manager, but any repairs existing in the main flash file system of the IC755CSS12CDA cannot be repaired by storage manager.

Once DC power is applied to the unit, the IC755CSS12CDA LED display will emit a solid amber color during start-up processes. After initializing begins, the splash screen will be the first to appear. If any programs need to be skipped, including programs located in the Startup folder, the user may tap the DON’T RUN startup programs The IC755CSS12CDA is equipped with a tri-colored LED that offer visual status indications. There are also two indicators on the Ethernet port that indicate speed and link activity.
